  Food was awesome but be warned serves are massive. But wow, so fresh and tasteful. We certainly over indulged on our fantastic meal. Service was great also. Not what you expect to find in a "frontier" town. Well done highly recommend the experience.

  Possibly the best and most affordable place to eat in town. Serving sizes are huge! Might be a bit of a wait since everyone is going there for dinner but well worth it!

  When in Coober Pedy and you are hungry or very hungry... John's Pizza Bar is just the place you want to go. The restaurant, open 7 days, is situated in the middle of the town and has plenty of car parking. The 3 sizes of pizzas are made according their menu or as you order them; like have & half of two types of listed pizzas! No matter what size you order the small, medium or large size pizzas are are well topped with the goodies. A large one will easily feed 2-3 people. If you don't feel like having a pizza... John's also serves a great variety of light meals, salads, seafoods, grills and pastas at very reasonable prices. So don't miss out on a good outback feed when in Coober Pedy!
