  A bit different. Staff helpful. A bit stuffy during the night. Very interesting. A bit of history and construction information on display would be a great touch.

  This place is tops! A wonderful experience sleeping underground... It's about 16 degrees C outside and 25 inside.. toasty. With no heater! :-) Good sized rooms, hot hot water. Shower was a solid 8 out of 10. Friendly service met us at the door on check in and there is a cracking view from right on the hotel "roof". Definitely give this place a go. Also they give you 10% off at all the best eateries in town.

  Just arrived. Love the place! Literally inside the rock. Rooms are nice and cozy. Clean, especially compared to Uluru resort where we were yesterday!

  An incredible place. The walls and ceilings are works of art, carved from the Earth. I never felt claustrophobic. The gentleman who greets you has lived in Coober Pedy forever. Listen to him. He knows where to go and what to do. The amenities in the room are great. Cold water and cofee creamers in the fridge. A toaster and kettle ready for use. Do not be fooled by the simple exterior. This place is wonderful. AND the best place in town to watch the sunset!
