  Reasonable rooms, springs came through our king size mattress, sons single bed collapsed in the middle around 2am in the morning, gave us all a fright, but otherwise all good, comfy lounges make it nice. Would stay again

  Location is reasonable and the rooms are mostly underground, except for the bathroom, which means that the bathrooms are fairly warm compared to the rest of the place. Unfortunately, the rooms are mostly painted white, which takes away from the cave feel that you are there for. The town has obvious dust issues, but the motel has done little or nothing to address the problem. Otherwise, the place is fairly clean, but in poor repair with chipped paint, water damage, and linoleum flooring peeling away from the floor. Despite the cooler under ground environment, air conditioning is still needed for comfort in the bedroom and sitting area and the bathroom is outright hot. The rooms are large though. The toiletry amenities are lacking, limited to bar soap only. The view is of a dusty parking area, not the desert vista you are hoping for. Overall, I would not stay again.

  Apartments were really spacious an comfortable. We are a family of 4 travelling together and to all of us this was the best accommodation in our 7 day trip. The only thing we did not like is that the place does not offer shampoo only cheap hand soap.

  A great place to stay while in Coober Pedy. It gives you a taste of the underground living in the desert. Managed by a lovely couple. I also recommend you take the tour of Coober Pedy with Nolen Tours.
