Went in Tuesday morning to check if they got the part "recieved it, will be done by 12".

Another expierence some friends broke down out of town with a busted CV joint and wheel bearing. He said he couldnt fix it and it HAD to be towef to port augusta for over $2000 + repair costs in port augusta. I grabbed parts from adelaide in a day and drove up and fixed the car in 2 hours. Theres no reason the parts couldnt have been sent to coober pedy in a day and fixed in two. That fix cost under a $1000.

I didn't belive him and checked my tyres. Found out, that a wheel bearing was spinning loose. Asked the guy again - No, the bolts are straight out of the engine bay.

Got a call 50 mins later. All done, come pick it up. Quote from my mechanic at home was high 600s. They charged me $480.

Rock up Monday morning to check "I came in over the weekend. Had to order from Adelaide, come in after lunch tomorrow".

very friendly, but, at least in our case, not helpful and almost wrecked our car with a wrong diagnosis.

Now the mechanic said: 'exhaust leak, probably at the manifold' - which was right, but also said, that the bolts would have come out of the manifold but not a problem, just drive carefully.

Was told "we may have one for your car, if we do it will be done Monday. Otherwise we order one from Adelaide and will be done Tuesday." Ask for a rough quote - $700-$800.

Car broke down 5km up the road. They were there quickly to tow. Was 5pm Friday arvo and they hung around while I organised my NRMA info. He looked at it for 2 mins in straight away diagnosed furl pump. I was worried after reading the other reviews and a mechanic looking at it that morning and saying "removed fuel pump, clean and ok" but the guy insisted it was fuel pump.

We went here with a weird noise from the engine bay. The friendly mechanic made some time for us right away, asked me to start the engine and a second later he said: 'head gasket!'. I told him, that this is the regular sound of this car for years and the new noise only occurs at higher rpm. Went for a test drive, after that we found six bolts on the ground where we've parked before.

Was worried it may have not been the fuel pump but had been working fine since. The quick diagnosis worked for me. Was a happy customer.

We left, removed the tyre and found out, that it was almost coming off by itself. Put the bolts back in the bearing and got our exhaust leak fixed at dusty mechs, up the road. (told Shane at dusty mechs about the screws and his first response was: "straight from the wheel, they rattle loose on our bad roads, that's normal. Check them every now and then.")

First header tank on the falcon went. He said it would take three days for a new one to get in. After offering to order a new one and take a second hand one off a customers car he asked me to pay double the price of a new one and then gave me a second hand one from his shelf out back. Twice the price, and i fitted it myself.

A bit short on communication, but we asked for quote for the necessary work. Happy with service and timeliness given delivery constraints and weekend
